How we ensure RentTrust remains the "source of truth."
The "Verified" Weighting
- •Verified Reviews (Two-Party or Evidence-backed) are given priority in search results and contribute 100% to a profile's aggregate score.
- •Unverified Reviews remain visible but are marked clearly and carry significantly less weight in the score.
Dispute Process
If a landlord or tenant claims a review is false:
- 1.The review is temporarily flagged but remains visible while under review.
- 2.Both parties are invited to upload evidence (Leases, Communication logs).
- 3.A RentTrust Admin will make a final determination. We do not remove "mean" reviews—only "provably false" ones.
Blind Review Release
To prevent "tit-for-tat" reviews, your submission will only be revealed once the other party submits theirs, or after 14 days (whichever comes first).
